The 80th Annual Academy Awards have come and gone, and the night's big winners were all smiles as they were handed their coveted statuettes one by one.

Taking honors for best film was the Coen Brothers' hit movie, No Country For Old Men - which was thought to be a vanguard of the event from the beginning.

Meanwhile, French actress Marion Cotillard took best actress for her work in La Vie En Rose, while Daniel Day Lewis won best actor accolades for his role in the riveting There Will Be Blood.
