It is of the opinion that the young stars were leaving to start filming of the last episode of their successful film franchise - High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
As previously reported, HSM 3 is the story of "Seniors in high school, Troy (Ciara) and Gabriella (Brown) struggle with the idea to be separated from each other as college approaches. Together with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a musical spring to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future. "
The film, which is directed by Kenny Ortega, is currently listed as an October 24, 2008 release date.
