Harry Potter Movie Has Been Released

Last year, the date of release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", originally scheduled for November, was delayed for eight months. Potter fans everywhere were screaming in protest, prompting petitions online and angry screeds against the browse internet studio, Warner Brothers. After a long, the film is finally released on Wednesday. So far, early reviews of "The Half-Blood Prince" have been among the most positive of franchise. Yet it is still too early to say whether the hardcore fans will be forgiving.

The book is the penultimate volume of JK Rowling's incredibly popular series and is much darker, more action-packed, and more complex than the first book, "Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone." Adults who believe God, as in the beginning of the series proved to be flawed. Hormones complicate friendships. A long-simmering war between good and evil wizards boils over. And ask the fairies in "Sorcerer's Stone" irreversibly towards the adolescent anguish and tragedy, especially with the loss of a beloved character.

For this reason, in particular, "The Half-Blood Prince" is a beloved book in the Potter canon. Thus, when rumors began to drip on the film, some fans warned. [WARNING: Minor Spoilers ahead.] Some Fretted that nascent romance between Hermione and Ron, and between Harry and Ginny might feel forced and not to have found chemistry in the book. Doing little to assuage these fears, Emma Watson, who plays Hermione, has described the co-star Rupert Grint as kissing kissing, like his brother.

Potterites More disturbing, the ending is markedly different from this book. Gone are the battle at Hogwarts and Dumbledore's funeral, which is perhaps the most moving passage of the entire series. Director David Yates defended the changes, pointing out that the end of the book also offers a large-scale assault on the world's most famous academy of magic, a second feel superfluous. Dumbledore's funeral would not only correspond with the tone of the film, it was cut. Rumor has it that the stage could be added at the beginning of the next film in the series "Harry Potter and the Death Hallows: Part I", which is scheduled for November 2010. So how does the "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" end? Learn July 15.
